With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Weston McCormick (Yale, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Weston McCormick to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce McCormick and Jean McCormick (Campbell); his son David; his siblings, John, William, Daniel, Robert, George, David, Helen, Janice, Patricia, Phyllis and Laurel; and his half-sister Doris.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Meharg; his son Robert (Lisa); and his sister Margaret Crowe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A masonic service will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Kaatz Funeral Directors (10 S Main St, Yale, MI 48097). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cole United Methodist Church (7015 Carson Rd, Yale, MI 48097).
