He is survived by: his cousins, Jimmy (Anna), Keaton, Nicholas, Jeremy, Jessica (Connor), Melissa, Kayla, Lincoln, Kelly (Noah), Cooper, Ralphie, Sarah, Tim (Stephanie), Elliot and Tucker; his mother Kim James of Yale; his brother Joshua James (Chelsea); his nephews, Caden and Zachary; his grandmother Joyce James; his aunts and uncles, Shelly, Matt, Jen and Terry; his father Don Blotsky; and his brothers, Alex, Preston and Logan. He is also survived by cousins and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mid-Michigan Teen Challenge (818 South Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602) or you may bring a tree to the service to be planted in Derek's memory at his favorite place, home.
