He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gibson and Lillian Gibson; his grandsons, Joshua Green and Timothy Gibson; his brothers, Jim (Doris Gibson), Gerald (Barbara Gibson) and Les Gibson; his parents-in-law, Stephen and Marjorie Michelz; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph, Michael, Paul and Mark Michelz.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Marjorie Michelz; his children, Anna Chrysler (Frank) of Montrose, Michael Gibson of Croswell, Maurene Maxfield (Randy) of Lexington, Mary Beth Gibson (John Almquist) of Yale and Matthew Gibson (Brandi) of Swartz Creek; his grandchildren, Frank (Jamie), Jesse (Lisa), Royal Chrysler (Holly), Paul Gibson (Liz Eiben), Randy Maxfield II, Asha Maxfield, Ashley (Mike Wright), Rachel (Phil Walker), Jeremiah, James Almquist, Matthew, Andrew and Emily Gibson; and his sister Mary Breeze of Petoskey. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sister.
