She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Jay Van Ess; her son Kenneth L. Van Ess; and her brother Jack Teegardin. She is survived by: her son David Van Ess; her grandchildren, Kirk Van Ess, Lisa Van Ess and Justin Bradford; her great grandchild Tyler Van Ess; her sister Barbara Van Ess; and her siblings-in-law, Donald, Pat Van Ess, Bill, Marge Van Ess, Barb and Duane Den Hof. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
