Richard O'Donnell Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank O'Donnell and Helen "Nellie" O'Donnell; his wife Teresa Janet (Gallagher); his siblings, Ronald "Ronnie", Charles and Margaret "Muggs" Bass; his in-laws, Glen McDonough, Alex "Gus" Walgus, Brian and Dee Gallagher; and his granddaughters, Bailey Lott-O'Donnell and Nadia Flowers.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Westmaas (David) of Allendale, Michael O'Donnell (Anne) of Traverse City, Judy Crowell (Michael), William O'Donnell (Kendra), Barbara Flowers of Kentwood and Ronda Alber (Curt) of Rockford; his grandchildren, Charlie Flipse (Dezarae Loudin), Kelly Krikke (Al), Josh (Jaclyn), Heather, Ronnie O'Donnell, Olivia, Chrissy, Brendan Crowell, Lindsey, Megan O'Donnell, Brittney, Garritt, Kaleigh (David Phillips-Lynch), Colton and Janessa Flowers; his great grandchildren, Raeleigh DeVowe, Jordan and Ellie Krikke; his sisters, Beverly Cantwell (Gary) of Beaver Island and Carol Bunting (Doug) of Charlevoix; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor McDonough of Charlevoix and Bob Bass of Beaver Island. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes (209 State St, Charlevoix, MI 49720). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mortensen Funeral Homes (209 State St, Charlevoix, MI 49720). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1003 Bridge St, Charlevoix, MI 49720). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (26369 Old Church Crest Rd, Beaver Island, MI 49782).
