She was predeceased by: her mother Anna McCoy (Dertein); her husband Donald VanderVeen; and her father Robert D McCoy. She is survived by: her children, Robert, Cris (Reese), Laurie VanHaitsma (Larry), Thomas, Robin Finkbeiner (Dave) and Cherie Fuss (Jeff); her grandchildren, Justin VanderVeen (Stephanie), Randy VanderVeen (Richelle), Tyler Van Haitsma, Terry Van Haitsma (Marcy), Erin Walcott (Scott), Nathan VanderVeen (April), Krista Luloff, Michael VanderVeen, Holly Drew (Jeff), Kyle Finkbeiner and Nicholas McCoy (Joshua); her sisters, Louise Wheeler and Janine Burns (Casey); and her sister-in-law Anne VanderVeen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 5250 Byron Center Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49519. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Faith Hospice.
