Herbert C. Monroe Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert C. Monroe Jr. of Wyoming, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sr. Monroe and Vivian Monroe. He is survived by: his pets, Brandy Wine and Luna; his children, Herbert III Monroe (Amber) and Gay Lopez (Arturo); his grandchildren, Chrystal Whitney, Nichole Troutman (Matthew), David Whitney (Kelsey), Dylan Whitney (Samantha), Hayden Monroe and Daren Monroe; and his siblings, Roger, Dean, Carolyn, Bonnie and Dawn. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel (3131 Division Ave S, Grand Rapids, MI 49548). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
