He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Launiere (Cripps); his brother Joseph; and his parents, Richard Launiere and Donna Launiere. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Greg Johnson and Amy Postma (Todd); and his siblings, Laurie Higgins-Dolcey (Michelet), Doug Launiere and Michael Launiere (Jennifer). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John Vianney Church.
