She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Gladys June Gallagher (Allen); her husbands, Ralph Childs, Charles Hilbert and Leo O'Brien; and her sister Barbara Acosta (Dan).

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia, Larry Howard, James, Jill Childs, Catherine and Craig Denton; her grandchildren, Joseph Tatsch (Christine), Elizabeth Tatsch, Danielle Tatsch, David Tatsch, Katie Childs, Alicia Lutz (Chad), Michael Denton (Olivia) and Rachael Denton; her great grandchildren, J. R. Lutz, Cole Lutz, Danzig Tatsch, Peter Denton and Jenessee Otterbridge; her stepchildren, Gary, Vicki Hilbert, Sandy Hilbert, Cindy Syrek (Bill), David O'Brien, Mary Hauschild (Matthew), Daniel O'Brien (Mellie), Maureen O'Brien and Thomas O'Brien (Robin); and also Terry Tatsch. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
