He is survived by: his parents, Rosemary Contreras and Julio Contreras; his siblings, Soyla Acosta, Julio Contreras Jr., Juan Contreras (Emily Rose Duncan) and Esmeralda Contreras (David Hernandez); his nieces, Leighla, Luna, Camilla and Hina; his grandparents, Jesus "Grandpa Chuy" Quintanilla and Rafaela Mireles Medina; and his aunts and uncles, Rosalinda (Armando), Michael (Tara), Jessie (Rowena), Victoria (Collin), Eduardo (Candi), Nancy, Vicente (Melissa), Ivan, Rosa and Maria.
