He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Carpenter; his child Laurie Rinaldi; and his brother Gerald Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Linda Linville (Barry) and Larry Carpenter (Carol); his son-in-law Tony Rinaldi; his grandchildren, Jason, Jamie, Jeff (Renee) and Jenny (Tim); and his great grandchildren, Shaylyn, Addisyn, Raina, Grace and Ainsley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
