He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jimmy Tyra, Danny Tyra, Bobby Tyra, Christine Stroupe, David Tyra, Ricky Tyra and Randy Tyra.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Tyra; his children, Ronnie Tyra, Toby Tyra, Jeremy Tyra and Matthew Tyra (Christy); his grandchildren, Shelby Tyra, Jason Tyra, Kyle Tyra, Aubrey Tyra and Venessa; his great grandchildren, Lillee Lucas, Aaron Lucas and Jace Wyatt; and his siblings, Barbara Bounce, Jerry Tyra (Connie), Kenny Tyra (Carol), Carol Ann Maddox and Debbie Tyra. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
