She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Derrick Bernat; her sister Patricia Cepko; and her sister-in-law Constance Skoski. She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her children, Theresa Hamblin (Brian), Angela Bernat and Philip Piasecki; her brother Richard Skoski; and her grandchildren, Nickolas, Angelina and Elise.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Czopek Funeral Directors (2157 Oak St, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Vincent Pallotti Parish (135 Superior Blvd, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
