He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos and Jessie; and his siblings, Florance, Clyde, Jim, Gene and David.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Collins; his children, Beverly Edwards, Wayne Collins (Stacey) and James Collins (Jessica Shelata); his sister Betty Simpson (Charles); his grandchildren, Meg, Tyler, Paige, Alicia, Jessie and Kevin; and his great grandchild Christian.
