She was predeceased by: her husbands, Joseph McDermott and Herbert Scherer; her son Robert Scherer; and her brother Clifford Aliff. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Scherer, John Scherer and Laura Shelton (Jim); and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Trisha (Derek), David, Jacob and John.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Homes - Nixon Chapel (2544 Biddle Ave, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
