He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa "Terrie"; and his son Jeffrey Carroll-Vandalov. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Brincat (Joseph) and Christopher Carroll (Gina); and his grandchildren, CeCelia Durham (Kevin) and Christopher Carroll.

Memorial contributions to honor Lewis' life may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
