With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Michael Kapanowski in Wyandotte, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Michael and Lorna Leora Kapanowski. He is survived by: his wife Janet Kapanowski; his sister Pamela Boysen; his nieces, Rachel Cline and Lynnette Mousseau; and his nephew Jason. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Henry Ford Hospice or the Michigan Humane Society, organizations that were close to Mike's heart.
