With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leon Adkins in Wyandotte, Michigan, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Adkins and Henry Adkins; and his siblings, Kelly Adkins, Grant Adkins, Jim Adkins, Mike Adkins, Billie Brown, Beatrice Brewer and Annie Compton.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Adkins; his children, Gregg Adkins (Candace) and Pam Cook (John); his grandchildren, Gregg, Nick, Kayla (Nico), Kelly and Hailey; his great grandchildren, Olive, Little Gregg, Xavier, Isaiah and Johnny; and his siblings, Mary Drake and Dean Adkins (Patti).
