He is survived by: his children, Matthew Merrill (Deborah), Steven Merrill (Nominique), Maureen Merrill and Marla Liphardt; his child-in-law Kelly Merrill; his grandchildren, Steven Broome, James Broome, Corey Thaxton, Matthew Merrill Jr., Elizabeth Cousineau, Amanda Merrill, Christopher Merrill, Jacob Liphardt, Olivia Liphardt, Andy Nguyen, Sophie Fanton and Jackie Trimble; and his brothers, Robert Merrill (late Marilyn) and George Merrill (Judy). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
