He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his parents, Henry Coley and Madeline Coley; and his brothers, Henry and James Coley.

He is survived by: his nephews, Tony and Richard; his stepchildren, Seth Watkins (Deanne) and Wendy Watkins; and his sister-in-law Judy Coley.
