He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Damron and Anzie Johnson; his stepfather Elmer Johnson; and his brothers, Kermit Damron and Joel Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Damron; his children, Keith Damron (Susan), Laurie Palmer (Joe) and Lisa Dills (Rob); his grandchildren, Jeanette Harris (Chase), Josie Palmer, Lindsay Dills, JuJu Palmer, Nicole Damron, Robert Damron and Jayme Dills; and his siblings, Greg Johnson (Pam) and Janice Wynn (Lee).
