It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Akers of Wyandotte, Michigan, born in Weeksbury, Kentucky, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Mae; his parents, Zettie and Fred; and his brother Arthur Bill. He is survived by: his daughters, Donita Adams (Randy), Sharon Niebrzydowski (Larry) and Lynn Edwards (Warren); his grandchildren, Randy Adams, James Adams, Rebecca Hernandez, Charity Scherer, Matthew Edwards and Lindsay Rhodes; and his brother Roger Akers.
