He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Leadell Courtney; his grandson Brett Roney (Karen); his parents, Thomas Courtney and Amolia Courtney; and his brothers, Robert Thomas Courtney and John Frederick Courtney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mollie Galate (Sam), Adele Roney (Charles) and Jeanine Clark (Don); and his grandchildren, Courtney Galate (Adam Ostrowski) and Harrison Roney.
