He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. McDaniel and Ruby McDaniel; and his brothers, Carl McDaniel and Robert McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Carol McDaniel; his children, David L. McDaniel (Kym) and Sandra Williamson; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Ashley (Lauren), Stephanie and Grace; and his siblings, Steve McDaniel (Mildred) and Charlotte Hunter (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
