She was predeceased by: her husband Hilbert "Curly" Earl Shaw; her parents, Louis Jude Christie and Anna Marie Miller; and her siblings, Louis Christie, Donald Christie, Dave Christie and Sheryl Grocki.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amanda Nicole Douglas, Donald Nicholas Lambert, Heather Nicole Lambert, Amber Annette Marin-Ojeda, Corey Michael Asmus, Cullan Dustan Page and Brian Anthony Koch; and her siblings, Colleen Ottenbreit and Ray Christie. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
