He was predeceased by: his parents, John Voorde and Anna Vande Voorde. He is survived by: his wife Jean Lariviere; his children, Scott Vande Voorde (Lynn Gordon), Kelly Griffin (Ryan), Ryan Detrick (Michelle) and Nicole Murawski (Michael); his grandchildren, Faith, Calista, Tyler, Logan, Cameron, Payton and Lane; his great grandchild Charlotte; and his sister Nancy Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home (1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
