He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Winkler and Luta Winkler (Gerlinger); his son Dennis Winkler (Nancy); his grandson Paul Richard Winkler; his brother Robert Winkler; and his niece Linda Leggett.
He is survived by: his wife Vergie Mae Beauchamp; his sons, Michael Winkler (Jane), Roger Winkler (Sue) and Larry Winkler (Deb); and his stepchildren, Ronda Welshans, Randall Welshans (Martha) and Roger Welshans (Laurie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakewood Community Church (10265 Brown Rd, Lake Odessa, MI 48849). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
