He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Mary Jackson Sr. (Stevens); his wife Vivian Lorraine Jackson (Collins); and his children, Frank Gallegos, Jr. and Sheilah Gallegos.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Arzola (Simon) of Mt. Pleasant, Vincent Gallegos of Grand Rapids, Gail Smith (Rory) of Sparta and Shelly Rickert of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
