He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ecker and FloraBelle Ecker (Emigh); his siblings, Kenneth, Gordon, Donald, Larry and Joyce; his granddaughter Melissa Blizzard Hodges; and his stepmother Mary Ecker.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Sue McCune Ecker; his children, Michael Ecker (Laurie) and Shelly Blizzard (Andy); his grandchildren, Eric, Emily (Lucas), Ellyn, Nathan, Adam and David (Jacqui); and his great grandchildren, Guinevere, Everett Blizzard and Austin Hodges.
