He was predeceased by: his parents, William Green and Irene Luella Faber; his wife Betty; his son William Elden Green (Elizabeth "Betty" Green); and his brothers, Bill Simpson, Gerald Green and Edward Hubel.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Green (Janet) of Kalkaska and Leicia Romubio (Don Griffin) of Clare; his brother Orval Hubel (Margaret) of Clare; his sister-in-law Jean Hubel (Very); his close friend Linda Showalter of Winn; his sons, Mike Showalter (Jill), Matt Showalter (Deb) and Mark Showalter (Karla); his grandchildren, Autume Balcom (Greg), Grace Kilpatrick, Nicholas Green, Matthew Green (Bree) and Kristen Robison; his great grandchildren, Reece Griffus, Avery, Kylie Balcom, Tyler, Kaitlyn Robison, Isaac, Zavian Green and Lincoln Green; his grandchildren, Gavin, Abbie, Mackenzie, Katie, Josh Showalter and Bonus; and his great grandchild Jaxson Showalter.
Friends may visit the Green family Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Elden's family wishes to extend a huge thank you to Woodland Hospice, who not only cared for him, but the entire family, and memorial contributions given in Elden's honor may be made to Woodland Hospice of Mt Pleasant.
