He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wemigwase and Evelyn Wemigwase (Chingwa); and his siblings, Russell Wemigwase, Robert Wemigwase, Roxanne Wemigwase, Gloria Wemigwase and Shirley Wemigwase.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kaye; his sons, Joshua Wemigwase, Benjamin Wemigwase and Andrew Wemigwase; and his siblings, Richard Wemigwase, Roger Wemigwase, Mary Gasco and Christine Wemigwase. He is also survived by three sons.
