We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2023, at the age of 84, Sam Porta of Wolverine Lake, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore and Elizabeth "Bessie". He is survived by: his children, Liz MacDougall (Roy), Mary Ann Porta and Kelly Clymer (Scott); his grandchildren, Ian, Courtney (Justin), Lauren, Lindsey and Cody; his great grandchildren, Haddie, Kenna and Savanah; his siblings, Fran Kuchenmeister (Keith), Grace Porta and Rose Stepnitz (Chuck); and his close friend Carole Rusher. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Friends may visit Thursday 1-8 PM and Friday 9 AM until time of service Memorials to the American Heart Association appreciated.
