He is survived by: his children, Daniel Reck (Elizabeth) and Melissa Berumen (Brandon); his grandchildren, Daniel, Rachel, Dylan, Brett and Gwendolyn; his sister Pam Drake (Mel); his nephew Chad Fisher (Tricia); his niece Mandi Patterson (Archie); and also Katerina.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (1800 W Maple Rd, Birmingham, MI 48009). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
