He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kulling and Laverne Kulling. He is survived by: his wife Candace; his children, Melissa Tibai (Ben) and Joshua; his grandchildren, Noah and Maddie Tibai; his sister Laura Bolyard (Les); and his nephews, Tyler (Abby) and Jacob (Marisa).

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Home - Walled Lake (340 N Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, MI 48390). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials to the American Diabetes Association appreciated.

“Carl may no longer be with us, but in many ways, he still is. It's too early to comfortably use the past tense. We worked together for a few years. Once I met him, I immediately knew I could count on him for friendly chats and helpful advise. He never let me down. He always tried to make the new guys feel included and valued. He was as genuine a person as you could meet. He was one of the most humble-yet capable-guys out there. He had the best laugh. He will be missed and will never be replaced.”
