She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Sr. Carrick and Vera Carrick (Jenkins); her husband Murtyn Markham; her daughter Debra Rhoads (Markham); her grandson-in-law Adam Forbes; and her siblings, Ida Sandusky and Bert Carrick II.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Markham (Carol) of Grand Rapids and Kay Sellers (Arthur "Art") of Remus; her grandchildren, Holly Forbes, Danielle Revard (Devin), Joshua Markham, Jereme Davis and Derrick Davis (Sam); her great grandchildren, Chloe Davis, Dakota Davis and Chelsea Forbes; and her siblings, Dale Carrick (Pat) of Missouri, Nina Woodrow (Wayne) of Vestaburg, Nancy Fox (Phil) of Montana and Ron Carrick (Louise) of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Ellen's memory may be made to the Fremont Township Fire Department or to the family.
