He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward DeGrave and Laura DeGrave (Duchaine); his granddaughter Molly DeGrave; his stepparents, Henry Duchaine and Helen DeGrave; his siblings, Arlene Janofski, Pearl Larson, Evelyn Charlier, Ethel Wilber, Leonard DeGrave and Tom DeGrave; his father-in-law Henry R. Blahnik; and his brothers-in-law, Orville Charlier, Vern Wilber, Robert Larson and Henry J. Blahnik.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Blahnik; his sons, Ken of Wilson and Chris DeGrave (Terry) of Wilson; his grandchildren, Amanda Levesque (Nick), Shannon DeGrave, Julie Tebo (Cole) and Nicholas DeGrave; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Blahnik (Mary), Fred Janofski, Kathleen Machalk, Judy DeGrave and Barbra Blahnik. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (1216 12th Rd, Bark River, MI 49807).
