We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2023, at the age of 73, Willis D. Sweeney of Willis, Michigan, born in Pikeville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Jesse and Ellen Janet Sweeney (Smith); his son Sonny Sweeney; and his brother Jesse Sweeney. He is survived by: his former wife Sonny; his son Shawn; his former wife Barbara Sweeney; his grandchildren, Alyssa Fette and Christian Sweeney; his great grandchild Noah Fette; his siblings, Carl Kevin Sweeney (Linda) and Kathy Grougan (Tom); and his nieces, Katherine and Shelly Teper. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
