She was predeceased by: her parents, Cortez Weaks and Bertha Weaks (Jones); and her son Clinton Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Bobby E. Maxwell; and her children, Cheryll Conklin, Brenda Painter (Dave Bies), Marshall Johnson III (Peggy), Cliff Johnson (Candy), Ronda Selter (Jeff) and Steve Maxwell (Dee). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to March of Dimes.
