He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Hale and Elizabeth Hale (Howell); his spouse Janalyn George; and his brothers, Mattison "Buck" Hale, Jack Hale and Kane Hale.
He is survived by: his sons, James A. Hale (Tracey) and Ray B. Hale (Lisa); his grandchildren, Mattison Hale (Katherine), Mary Elizabeth Hale, Kayla Rae Dykes (Justin) and Cassidy Clare Aguilar (Angel); his great grandchild Isaiah Gerard Hale; and his sisters, Clara Friar, Bessie Maynard (Eugene) and Glenda Layne (Porter Preston). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family has suggested that contributions in his memory please be made to the Victorious Life Food Ministry.
