It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jordena Poindexter-Swoffer of Willis, Michigan, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Frances Ober and Mabel Ober; her former husband Edwin Poindexter; and her sister Beverly Wildeman. She is survived by: her sister Barbara Clark; her children, Glenn Poindexter (Judy), Brian Poindexter (Jackie) and Steven Poindexter; her stepsons, Gary (Louise) and Doug Swoffer (Pattie); and her grandchildren, Amanda Buter, Matthew Holsten, Melissa Cahill, Christina Poindexter, Chaz Poindexter, Crystal Johansen, Danielle Patton, Logan Swoffer, Dillon Litchlighter, Jodie Swoffer, Stacey Swoffer, Shauna Swoffer, Jennifer Roberts, Whitney Parks and Zachary Swoffer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oakwood Church (9074 Whittaker Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood Church or Arbor Hospice.
