He is survived by : his wife Dawn; his children, Madalyn VanAlstine, Gage VanAlstine, Alyia Bauer and Dawson Bauer; his parents, Dan Bauer and Sue Bauer; his siblings, John Bauer (Katlyn) and Lisa McCann (Ben); his grandparent Walt Bauer (Jayne); and his uncles, Larry Thelen (Jean), Ron Thelen (Coralee), Daniel Thelen (Carol), Roger Thelen (Diane), Wayne Thelen (Elaine), Diane Hall (David) and Tom Bauer (Betty). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages those desiring to make contributions in Jason's honor to the family for his children's education, or Coach Jason Bauer Basketball Scholarship, or the Burcham Hills Foundation.
