She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Lee Newsom; her grandson Bradley Newsom; her parents, Willa Mae and Frederick Briese; and her sister Betty Roberts.
She is survived by: her sons, James Newsom (Maxine), Donald Newsom (Lora), Mark Newsom and Brett Newsom (Jody); her grandchildren, Joel Newsom (Jasmine), Joshua Newsom, Nicholas Newsom (Haley), Danielle Hixton (Clint), Lindsay Ulsky (Jeremy), Sharon Newsom and Rachel Newsom; her great grandchildren, Jonah, Jadyn, Charlotte, Harper, Ollivander and Killian; her siblings, James Briese, David Briese (Annette) and Dianne Crossman (Tom); and her goddaughters, Kelly and Suzie. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
