Louis Knack Wood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louis Knack Wood of Williamsburg, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2024 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louis Knack Wood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Comstock; his parents, William A. Wood and Doris Wood; and his siblings, William A. Wood, Jr. (Temazene) and Roseann Wood Landis (Donald).
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Wyckhuys (Brian), Janice Wood (Lance Hassan) and Kathy Wood; his grandchildren, Laura Keast Godlewski (David), Alison Keast Tackett (Andrew) and Haila Hassan; his great grandchildren, Jacob Engblom and Nicklaus Engblom; his brother David J. Wood; and his brother-in-law Donald Landis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pixley Funeral Home (322 W University Dr, Rochester, MI 48307). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in honor of Louis to the Macular Degeneration Association or to The Presbyterian Church of Traverse City.
