Betty Jean Wallace Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Wallace of Williamsburg, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Betty is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Betty's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Ferguson and Gwendolyn Ferguson (Gray). She is survived by: her husband Doug; her children, James Wallace (Linda) of Wheaton and Janet Toscano (Michael) of Elk Rapids; and her grandchildren, Daniel Wallace of Wheaton, James Wallace (Catherine) of Lombard, Angela Young (Bryan) of Winfield and Jennifer Granning (Joseph) of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Autumn House (4354 Mt Hope Rd, Williamsburg, MI 49690).
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Presbyterian Church of Traverse City or Traverse Area District Library services for the handicapped and blind.
