He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hottois and Helen Hottois (Hale); and his siblings, Joe, Jim and June.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia (McComb); his daughter Royan Hottois; his grandchildren, Erica Hottois (Rodney), Emily Fenslau (Keith) and Emersun Fenslau; and his great grandchildren, Myla and Kimber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
