He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Cliff of Mims, FL, Stacy Maurer (Steve) of Hastings, MI, Chris Nichols (Theresa Grubaugh) of Standish, Kevin Nichols of Cassopolis, MI and Amy Brown (Kory) of Syracuse, IN; his daughter-in-law Stephanee O'Meara of Turner; his siblings, Norman Nichols of Prescott, Joan Gawlik (Frank) of Whittemore, Carol Snyder of Sterling, Lloyd Nichols (Beatrice) of Hale, Linda Mullenix of Mio, Brenda Carson of Standish and Arlene Tremble (Danny); and his niece Dawn West of Prescott. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
