He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Ruby; his siblings, Junior, Ronnie, Connie, Christine and Linda; and his sons, William (Billy) and Lawrence (Larry).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Britt of Whittemore; and his children, Kenneth Britt (Lesley) of Imlay City, Johnny Britt (Dawn) of Flushing, Sophia Bellinger (Wesley) of Tawas City and John Britt Jr. (Mykal) of Jacksonville. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
