He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Smith and Mina Smith (Eastman). He is survived by: his children, George Smith (Deanna), Stephanie Common (Ken), Roy Smith (Cindy), James Smith (Colleen), Roderic Smith (Michelle), Denise Smith and Jodi Johnroe (James); and his sisters, Lillian Armstead, Nina Jordan and Patricia Santamour. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
