With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel Alan Asel of Whitmore Lake, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on November 14, 2021 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Anthony Asel; his brother Jeff Asel; his stepfather Donald Lloyd; and his stepbrother Kevin Lloyd. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob and Joshua Asel; his mother Florence Lloyd (Baczkiewicz); his siblings, Jay Asel (Sharon), Jill Hicks (Dan) and Joni Brinker (Jim); and his stepsister Donna Huang (Jerry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
