It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Wiertella (Whitmore Lake, Michigan), who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John August Wiertella and Mildred G. Wiertella (Neuman); his children, Larry Wiertella (Joann), Shirley Forrester (John) and Bryan Wiertella (Margie); his brother Ron Wiertella (Beverly); and his wife Marian Wiertella. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Arthritis Foundation of Michigan or the American Diabetes Association of Michigan.
